General Terms and Conditions :

  1. Warning: Please count your money and collect your Original Receipt before leaving the counter. We will not be responsible for any claims whatsoever afterwards.
  2. Warning: Currencies once exchanged will be bought/sold only at our prevailing buying/selling rate.
  3. Warning: Penalties and Fees may be applied if there is a customer error or omission in providing correct or incomplete information for remittances.
  4. Warning: Refund against cancellation drafts, transfers or any other remittance transactions returned unpaid for whatsoever reason will be made only at our prevailing buying rate or customer’s purchased rate whichever is lower.
  5. Warning: Any claim of refund cannot be affected until:
    • The customer produces a valid ID to prove that he/she is the remitter
    • The customer returns the original DD/TT application counterfoil and the Exchange have received definite advice from their correspondents that the DO/ TT are unpaid and the original instructions have been cancelled or credited to our account.
  6. Warning: Re-issuance/Replacement of remittance transactions for whatsoever reason will be subject to our charges and rate difference as applicable.
  7. Warning: Additional fees may be levied by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances.
  8. Warning: The actual time to complete a transaction may differ from estimates due to increased scrutiny of transactions by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances.
  9. The customer confirms that funds for this transaction (Remittance sent or Remittance received) are made available from legal sources and towards legal purposes allowed as per the UAE laws. This transaction is not used or any part of it is directly/indirectly connected to finance any kind of terrorism/ money laundering activities.
  10. All transactions will be subject to the AML/CFT laws, regulations, standards and policies issued by the Central bank of UAE and other international organizations/bodies and maybe be blocked/freezed incase found suspicious. The sender/beneficiary will be fully responsible to provide necessary evidence/clarification for any queries from correspondent/intermediary banks or authorities. The exchange shall not be liable and bear no responsibility whatsoever for any transaction being blocked/freezed or returned by concerned authorities.
  11. Valid ID must be presented at the time of transaction processing. Valid IDs include UAE Emirates ID or Passport with valid Visa. GCC ID (applicable for GCC Nationals)
  12. We, AL AMAL EXPRESS EXCHANGE or our Agents will not be responsible and liable for any delay, mistake, omission, and loss caused due to system issues and force majeure events which includes, without limitation, acts of God or any other circumstances beyond our control.
  13. We have a zero -tolerance approach to facilitation of tax evasion, whether under UAE law or the law of any foreign country. we shall in no way aid, abet or encourage tax evasion by any of our customers and correspondent, Intermediary and/or Beneficiary Banks that we have a business relationship with.
  14. All transactions are Subject to the Anti-Facilitation of Tax Evasion Policy implemented by the AL AMAL EXPRESS EXCHANGE and other applicable laws, rules, and regulations. in this regard, AL AMAL EXPRESS EXCHANGE will be provided all such information and documents as may be required to comply with such policies and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  15. AL AMAL EXPRESS EXCHANGE is free to use intermediary financial institutions in any country of its choice for the execution of its transfer. Correspondent/intermediary Bank’s charges are applicable in some Countries and transfers will be subject to such charges at the receiving end.
  16. AL AMAL EXPRESS EXCHANGE reserves the right to change terms and conditions at a later date.
  17. All our employees are trained to assist customers with their complaints. The easiest way to make a complaint is by email, at complaints@amalexchange.ae or by submitting your complaints to our branch. You can also submit a complaint by calling 043986030.
  18. We have a zero-tolerance approach to tax evasion whether under UAE or US, UK and any foreign country law. We will not aid, abet, or encourage tax evasion in any way by any of our clients or the counterpart, intermediary and/or beneficiary banks with which we have a business relationship.
  19. All transactions are subject to Al Amal Exchange’s zero-tolerance tax evasion policy in addition to compliance with all other applicable laws, regulations and rules.In this regard, the Al Amal Exchange Company shall provide all information and documents that may be required to comply with such applicable policies, laws, regulations and rules
  20. AL AMAL EXPRESS EXCHANGE will provide inquiring Consumers with a copy of the terms and conditions of the Financial Product and/or Service that pertains to the inquiry.
